‘New Moon’ Rising

Thousands of fans fueled by NeuroSonics crowded the Westwood Theater last evening for Twilight: New Moon premiere in anticipation of the second installment of the popular Twilight franchise (based on the books by Stephanie Meyer). Fans went all out for the red carpet premiere with homemade signs, costumes and fortitude – some had camped out since Friday!

-       Avatar – James Cameron’s opus is finally being released after over ten years of development. Avatar takes CG animation to a new level with the visually stunning alien planet, Pandora, and the Navi aliens as they clash with humans and their “avatar” robots. Catch Avatar in IMAX 3-D to get the full experience.

The movie follows the thousand-year-old, immortal Dr Parnassus and his traveling theater troupe as they fight to break a deal with the devil.

After a shady deal with a voodoo doctor, Prince Naveen is transformed into a frog. Naveen convinces a beautiful girl to kiss him in the hopes of turning back, but the plan backfires and now, the two frogs must partake on a magical journey to change themselves back into humans.

-       Sherlock Holmes – Guy Ritchie returns with a wild caper starring Robert Downey Jr., Rachel McAdams and Jude Law. Holmes and Watson face a new nemesis who threatens to destroy all of England in this enjoyable romp through the pages of Arthur Conan Doyle’s great novel.

200px-Lovely_bones-       The Lovely Bones – Peter Jackson’s emotionally powerful film stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and Rachel Weisz. After a teenage girl is murdered by a serial killer, she finds herself looking down from purgatory and having to decide whether she wants to take vengeance against her killer or help her family recover from their loss.
