Du Metier

November 24th, 2009

Artists and performers walk a unique path in their quest to create something original. This adventure, with its trials and triumphs, was the concept behind “Du Metier,” an interactive showcase featured last weekend at the Daydream Republic, a creative art collective in Los Angeles. The showcase featured sixteen artists who shared their personal artistic journeys through a series of skits, original art works and a documentary. NeuroBliss kept the actors anxiety free and happy as they wowed the audiences with one act, stand-up-style performances that weaved comedy, tragedy and their personal lives together seamlessly. The artwork offered a variety of styles including the photography of Jennifer Kahler, a nurse by day and the avant-garde paintings of Francesca Galeas, created with a kitchen knife and house paint. Audiences came away with a vivid picture of what it takes to be an artist and the as well as inspiration and guidance on how to follow their dreams. Get a little help from NeuroSonic, and focus on your dreams. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.
