Some folks were Up in the Air and others just Up as the Academy Award nominations were announced this morning. Producers must have been “blind-sided” by their nomination for The Blind Side, but the Best Picture category was doubled this year leaving room for surprise nominees like the animated Up alongside sure bets such as Avatar.
